New Semester Reflection

The first thing that I am going to talk about is seeing a teacher at tutorial time. I mostly saw my math teacher because math is one of those subjects where you should get an easy A in. When I had a problem with any part of a chapter I would go to her and get more 1 on 1 and it would help. Also you could finish your homework or study.

The quarter grades are very important to me because exams are not my thing. I have to go in exams with high grades just in case I blow an exam. Homework is very important and not only doing it but actually understanding it so that you do good on the tests.

A Boy's Day

     One rainy day is the summer of 2017 my friends and I were bored at out houses.We wanted to do something but we did not know what to do. We texted each other to say that we were going to meet at Bocage to play basketball and what ever else we could do. Bocage is a club that my friends and I are members of. So we met there and we played a heated and competitive game of basketball. Later we found and football and had a great idea. We were going to play a game in the muddy field at Bocage. It was going to be 2 v 2 with an all time quarterback. Every time we would run a route there would be someone slipping and land on the ground. Author: Brian Schwartz The article I read was about the senate race in Florida between Rick Scott and Bill Nelson. This race is supposed to be the most expensive senate race ever. In this case money matters and both candidates have plenty of money because they are both receiving so many donations. The reason Scott has so many money is because he was apart of a group based in Southern Florida. This was a political action committee. They have already raised 1.7 million and he had a huge donation of $250,000 from a supportive group. Nelson could win because he has a bank of his own. His campaign had raised 10 million through the early months of 2018 and also have an extra 8 million on the side. A popular bank named Regions has given him $114,000. The downside was his background when he was a CEO of a healthcare company. He defrauded taxpayers and was asked to step down and leave the company. Harrison Bergeron

This short story by Kurt Vonnegut Jr is a very odd story. In the story evryone in this community has to be "equal". The genre of the story is dystopian. There has to be an average level of logic that everyone has to be at. This is because there will be no competition in the community. There are many question that revolve around this short story. A level one question is what is the purpose of handicapping people? The main character is Harrison. He is a very strange and different person. He poses a threat to the government because he does not want to be on the same level as everyone. He is a very tall and intelligent man. One level two questions are what is the purpose of the ballerinas in the story? A level three question is what does true equality really mean?
