Fiction Flash Story

On an early Saturday morning, two teenage boys had woken up at 8:00 in Calfornia. Steve and Chris were planning to surf for a couple of hours. Steve's mom had told him before they had left to check the weather and bring some water. The two boys had just gotten two new boards and were ready to surf. The beach was five minutes away from the house. When they had arrived there, there were already a couple of men there throwing a frisbee. Steve had gotten his board and jumped right into the water and rode his first wave like it was nothing. Chris followed right behind him but took him a while to warm up. The waves were getting bigger by the hour. There were some dark clouds surrounding Chris and Steve along with the other men. The wind was picking up speed and the men were having a hard time throwing the frisbee. The clouds started to swirl and the electric eels were coming out of the water. The boys started to run to the car. One of the men had gotten hit by a 10-foot eel. The car that belonged to Steve had gotten crushed and he was thinking he was next. Chris was running with his board to somewhere safe. At this point, there was no place safe and the boys were sucking in the tornado and electrocuted by the eels.

  1. I like how there is no happy ending. I don't hear many surfing stories.
